Ogreta, a lyrically driven, indie-folk project is the brainchild of singer songwriter Penny O'Brien. Leaving Ireland at an early age, Penny spent her formative years navigating social and circumstantial relationships independently in Brooklyn which rings in her poignant and often cheekily layered lyrics. Romantic and personal, but with an observer’s approach Ogreta's music teases us with deep folk accents and draws us in with builds, pulsey expression and soft lyrical sounds. A refreshingly charming perspective on relationships to romantic and personal experience.
